Te invitamos a experimentar el estilo de enseñanza de Berklee College of Music durante el Panamá Jazz Festival y ganar créditos universitarios. Se realizarán dos seminarios de una hora dictados durante los cinco días del Festival. Danilo Pérez, Director artístico de BGJI y su equipo de profesores ofrecerán talleres de diversos aspectos musicales, a través de los cuales, los estudiantes desarrollarán habilidades de improvisación, construcción de repertorio, dominio escénico, rutinas de práctica, preparación mental y escucha crítica; componentes esenciales a la hora de presentar un exitoso concierto.


The mission of Berklee College of Music is to educate and train students to develop their full potential in the musical career. Founded in jazz and popular music rooted in the diaspora of African culture, its comprehensive curriculum is contemporary in its content and approach, encompassing the main musical movements of our time. His courses are based on academic and practical learning, which integrate performance and writing into a variety of influential musical styles.

We invite you to experience the teaching style of Berklee College of Music during the Panama Jazz Festival and earn college credits. Two one-hour seminars will be held during the five days of the Festival. Danilo Pérez, artistic director of BGJI and his team of professors will offer workshops on various musical aspects, through which students will develop improvisation skills, building repertoire, stage mastery, practice routines, mental preparation and critical listening; essential components when presenting a successful concert.
